Why Are Some Christians Often So Judgmental of Other People?

Even though Jesus said Judge not lest you be judged.  And even though Jesus noted that the yard stick you use on other people will also be used on you people still notoriously judge others harshly.

This action of judgement causes a reaction scenario that means when we judge others we bring by the law (even the law of attraction or karma) a harsher judgement onto ourselves.  Still some Christians believe it’s not only their job but even their calling to fault find, criticize, and furthermore correct in a demeaning way their brothers.  Even correction to he point of proclaiming a damning to Hell of their fellow Christians.

I cannot count the times that online Christians have told me my belief’s make me Satanic, unsaved, even though I am a Bible believing born again Christian.

THERE ARE SCRIPTURES TO BACK UP REPROOF AND KIND CORRECTION

Matthew 18:15-17
"If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. "But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
Galatians 6:1
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

So since there are scriptures of reproof and loving correction in scripture who really has a right to reprove their brothers and sisters?  Christians often grab at the the scriptures to reprove their brethren as a justification to pointing out other people’s shortcomings even unto public humiliation and shaming.

Satan has a counterfeit for every precept of God

WELL, guess what?  There IS a fine line that is crossed, it goes from Loving correction into mean spirited criticism, fault finding and belittlement.   There is a line my friends and many cross it on a regular basis.  Every pure act and precept of God has it’s counterfeit of evil semblance.  Counterfeits must and do look very much like the true Holy product or action.

Furthermore Jesus also said to get the plank our of our own eye before we try to get the splinter out of our brothers eye.  Meaning, often those reproving others have more sin and fault in their own heart than the brethren they are reproving.  We MUST not fall into working for the wrong team.  We must not play the accuser of the brethren this is playing right into the hands of Satan.

We are deceived if we shed the true armor of God and Trade it for the Satanic Wardrobe

And again to become the accuser we inadvertently shed the safety which is our armor of God and switch it up for the garments of the evil one.

How so?  You may say. Well firstly we put down the good news of the gospel of peace by causing discord.  Next we put down the sword of the Spirit by twisting the reproof scripture into a meaning that says it’s okay to criticize and fault find.  We are saying that we can make the Word of God to none effect by changing it’s meaning from Loving reproof to vicious criticism.  So we have dropped that most important piece of armor by our contradicting actions of it.

Next, we need to have our feet shod with the good news of the gospel of peace.  But now we drop peace and exchange it for discord.  Again we have made the Word of God of none effect by causing discord instead of carrying peace (the good news of the gospel of peace as it reads).

We are setting ourselves up for the fall by shedding our armor in this way.

SO WHY DO CHRISTIANS JUDGE OTHERS

There is nothing wrong with learning psychology or going to a counselor with a P.H.D or B.A. or B.S in psychology.   Christianity is not at competition with psychology nor are Christians unaffected by their emotions.  As a matter of fact this getting empathic therapy will help us learn who we are by exploring our emotional patterns of behavior, gaining awareness of our emotional survival skills, and learning our personal character flaws and reactive emotional patterns.  By knowing ourselves and by The Spirit of God we can command our flesh into subjection.  We have little success over our flesh if we don’t recognize it as flesh by our behaviors.

Christians primarily judge others for one main reason, they are insecure and feel inferior in their heart.  They have taken on a posture of “defense”.  Why?  Because they feel i their heart that they are GUILTY.  Hence they must find a scap goat to blame.  They adopt finger pointing to show that they are not bad and guilty like their own heart is telling them they are.  Ouch!  Ya that bites.

It’s not their fault that their self worth is low and their heart condemns them.  It is inbreed into us to think badly of ourselves by the indoctrination in public schools and by our parents indoctrination who know no better and have no clue what emotional nurturing is.  From generation to generation we cause our children to shut down emotionally by teaching things like “stop crying”, or “your not supposed to FEEL that way”, “your feeling are wrong”, “you shouldn’t FEEL that way.”  We are repeatedly told that our heart’s voice is wrong and bad.  So we grow up learning that we must change who we are inside.  We must project another image another personality.  We will become someone else THEN they will love us.  We will become who WE THINK THEY WILL LIKE.  We become who we think they want us to be.  We become someone THEY consider to be right and good rather than the bad and wrong rubber stamp we repeatedly get from our care givers.  Little do we know our indoctrination is setting us up to be manageable slaves of a beast systems that knows EXACTLY how to form an indentured servant.  The beast system knows exactly how to create a “follow the leader” child who will never question the kool status quos that are set down by media, and scholastically indoctrination’s.

We are formed into good slaves by the elites brainwashing and indoctrination into self hate.  By TV and movies we learned we are not normal or good.  And as babes in school unsavvy victims of circumstance like ourselves called teachers and administrators, unknowingly taught us that the real us is inferior. If we weren’t mathematicians we were failures.  Artistic genius is quelled in public schools and considered disobedience and a dream world.  Instead of our personal strong attributes being honed for a greater good they work to form carbon copy obedient indentured servants uncreative and suppressed both emotionally and artistically.  When we express our true nature, ideas, and thoughts we are shut down and shamed into silence by our fellow who laugh and our teachers who stamp us with an “F”.  Children are not born hating themselves.  Anxiety happens for a reason. Depression is a result of how we were raised.  Our parents were never taught to emotionally nurture our self worth or their own.

Those who set the standards of education from the very top know damn well how to shut down and control the population of mankind through silent oppression, poison food, and emotionally crippling criteria.

With our self worth depleted and broken due to false teachings we resorted to drugs, and distractions, we honed the skills of emotional survival like finding fault in others to feel somehow superior and justified.  We trained ourselves to seek differences instead of similarities.  In doing so we shut out our opportunities for fellowship and progress.  We who are taught to demoralize anyone who stands for something different than the status quos dictated by TV and media.  We are taught to demoralize one another to survive our self hate.  Lord help us.  Jesus, and therapy, The Holy Spirit can heal us of all these lies, hurts, and misconceptions.
