The church preaches that the war is already won because Jesus finished it when He died on the cross and was resurrected in 3 days. This makes Christians sit back in spiritual apathy. Noone want to think they have an active lethal enemy coming at them that they cannot see.
The war is waging against us. At the bottom of the page are the principles behind the enemies strategies against us. It is best we learn the deception and tactics so we can better fight and win. People die every day under the thumb of evil. The battle is upon us and we better learn to fight.
Growing in Christ does not always feel good. We may moan within when our old carnal ways of emotional survival get stripped from us. Especially false pride and self sufficiency. These fall and die very hard.
Admit Fear
Don’t Deny Fear, Face it by admitting it in truth. Write your fears down then pray God to remove them by overcoming them. It is okay to be afraid. It is not a shame to fear. It’s the walking through the fear without sinning and without being paralyzed by it that builds courage to overcome fear at its core.
“The effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16)
