Amos 8:11

“Behold, the days come,” saith the Lord God, “that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.

Psalms 119:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.

For now friends…

James 5:16“Confess your sins one to another and pray one for another that you may be healed, the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.”

Commentary by Jazweeh.  ENCOURAGEMENT:

PROTECTION IN THE LAST DAYS

Translation:  If we feel guilty WE MUSTN’T SUPPRESS IT.  It will eat us alive.  If we try to keep our sin and shame a secret, it will grow inside of us as an emotional issue that could, if intense enough, manifest as an issue and even open doors to unkind spirits.  So we share our guilt and sin with someone who gives a sh*t.  They should relate to us and understand ..

what we say, and show this by giving us mirroring and validating feedback.  This is Love and it heals us.  It is called empathy.  And it is magic (the good kind).

Scripture that Heals us Emotionally

The same goes for deep wounds, hurts, anger, and fear.  We must not hold these feelings in or hide them away. The intensity of negative feelings could be used against us as a spiritual stronghold for the enemy.  Confessing to God is good but not usually enough for the emotional process of healing and the full release of guilt.  There is something about confessing to another person that exhibits the humility needed to benefit our character.  Showing humility feeds us spiritually.  This is the natural flow of emotions that society TV and programming has taught us to stifle.  We must not hold tears in.  Crying is a healthy emotion.

James 5:16 (above) is true, living, and works for our healing.

The Full Armor of God

However be careful not to confess to someone who tends toward invalidating others feelings.  It could have an opposite effect of creating an even deeper shame.  Like “adding insult to injury.”  We need to confess to someone who CAN RELATE and will show they are being REAL with us.  Confession is also about the armor of God.  The belt of truth.  By confessing our sin we are wearing the belt of truth.  We are employing the word of God which is the sword of the Spirit.  It is a spiritual armor in the way it absolutely protects us from dark forces.  When we put on the armor of God and wield the sword of the Spirit well, Satan and his minions are then squittled.

“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23   Therefore those who don’t relate to the feeling of guilt are wearing a mask of superiority or are sociopath, and will grab at any chance to cover their own fear and guilt at the expense of the innocent.  Meaning some people love to use vulnerabilities against their brothers.  So confessing to someone who doesn’t show empathy won’t result in the healing effect that is spoken of in James 5:16.

1st Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Mandela effect notation:

The way I remember it in KJV "Be sober and vigilant for our adversary the devil walks the Earth as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour."    I could be wrong but it seems the scripture has magically scrambled itself like an egg on the book shelf.
